The quintessential fall Conejos view - bright clear crisp day, a little snow in the higher elevations, river low, foliage yellow:




Was up this weekend. Hiked toward Red Lake but it was cold, overcast, and windy. We turned back about halfway there (the kids weren't enjoying it much). A few stands of green aspens left, but everything else was ablaze. What a great way to spend the weekend.
