Well, I successfully navigated the roads and replaced the snowcam camera, so we should be getting some snow data now. There was over two feet (I forgot how much fun shoveling snow in the dark was.)

Anyway, Horca Snowcam - operational!

Also the convection effect on the second temperature sensor fascinates me. It's placed in a little bird feeder that gets direct sun in the afternoon - rather than being fan aspirated like the primary sensor. Pretty substantial difference - check it out for yourself on the custom graphing page ( http://www.gartholson.net/horca/weather/php/graphs/custom.php )

I put a link to the local ski sites' snow reports on the main page. This way Wolf Creek and Taos data can be viewed from a single source.

The same holds true for the local road conditions. The new link points to a page on the site that acquires the road conditions from both NM and CO real time. (Still a good idea to check their sites for yourself, but overall hopefully it's helpful.)

Post back for any questions, requests, problems, concerns or whatever.
