Message: I am posting this here because perhaps someone would know. I bought a cabin last fall at Rocky Mountain Estates (just past Conejos Campground on FR 250). I understand that the mine in Platoro closes that road in the spring at the gate about a mile or so past Rainbow Trout Ranch. Does anyone know who to contact to find out when it is closed. I am wanting to visit my cabin as soon as the snow is gone if possible. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Replies to this post
