well i have 2 solutions and both would be good to use. ok one is called logmein.com its a free remote access service to remotly access the computer just like you would with windows remote desktop. you dont need to know the ip address and as long as you have internet access you can access the computer and run it just like you were there.
the other thing to do is a service that is run through no-ip.com. what that can do is what ever the rotating ip address is it will forward you to that address. for example the address would be conejoscabins.no-ip.info and you can ping it or use windows desktop to access it. and its easy to ping to get the ip address and as long as that is running it is free and you will never have to know the ip address again. now if the computer freezes well we all know you will just have to manually restart it or have some one else restart it. if you need any help with this i do use both of these services for my vast number of computers in my house so i can walk you through step by step in setting it up. and hey its easy to do.
and if your wondering who i am. my family has a cabin up the river here. i just dont post on here all the time. hey this is the first time i have seen this site pretty cool
